Enjoy a leisurely stroll up the jetty on a balmy evening, look at the colourful interpretive signage, painted by local artists, as you wander along the foreshore past art galleries, craft shops and a variety of excellent dining establishments where you can tempt your taste buds with our local cuisine. Jetty fishing will usually guarantee a tasty catch of tommy ruff or squid. There is a marina where you can launch your boat and enjoy a day on the crystal clear waters. The Sir Joseph Banks Group of Islands is a major off shore attraction and a local charter boat is available to take you there on a fishing or scenic tour.	Local art work at the Travellers' Rest Reevesby Island, one of the chain of islands that make up the Sir Joseph Banks Group.
Tumby Bay boasts many modern facilities which include: an all weather airport, a well equipped, accredited hospital, chemist, dentist, ample shopping including craft shops and a sewing centre. The sportsperson will find a Sports Recreation Centre, bowling and croquet greens, tennis, netball and basketball courts, golf course and an oval. Education caters from Childcare to Year 12. Rural Care provides Child Care for children aged 8 weeks - 12 years and is available Monday - Friday 8.00am-6.00pm. Casual or long term care is available and visitors to Tumby Bay are welcome to use this facility.
