| This beautifully restored 1920s cottage and Bed and Breakfast welcomes you to a restful retreat in a quiet central town location. The cottage history is well documented from old newspapers under the old linoleum and records available, as it was a Mid Wife's Clinic of the 1920s. |

Granny Harris, a voluptuous lady with strong character, delivered many children - even my mother. Her love for youngsters often brought her to the sporting oval to watch the football game. Her huge hat, flowers bobbing on the brim, and an umbrella in hand caused people to give her a wide berth.
